Knowledge Feature Types define the attributes or characteristics that can be extracted from documents and attached to knowledge items. They provide a reusable vocabulary of features across your organization.

What are Knowledge Feature Types?

A feature type defines a specific kind of information that can be extracted from documents and associated with knowledge items. For example:
  • Effective Date — A date feature extracted from contracts
  • Total Amount — A currency feature extracted from invoices
  • Signatory Name — A text feature identifying document signers
Feature types are defined at the organization level and can be referenced across multiple projects.
