Knowledge Types define the categories of knowledge items that can be created and managed within your organization. They provide the structural framework for organizing extracted knowledge across projects.

What are Knowledge Types?

Knowledge Types categorize the items in your knowledge system. For example, you might define knowledge types for:
  • Entities — People, companies, locations referenced in documents
  • Clauses — Contractual clauses or legal terms
  • Requirements — Compliance requirements or specifications
Each knowledge type defines the structure and behavior of the items that belong to it.
